MeetingsCurrent Meeting AnnouncementThe Pacific Northwest Access Developers Group meets on the third Tuesday of each month.
Each meeting features a Main Presentation that covers topics of interest to Access Developers. Topics have included: specific programming techniques in Access; using the latest tools or add-ins; how to manage a development project; and how be a successful independent contract developer. Everyone is invited to join us for the Intro Session where we typically introduce concepts to help our more novice developers understand information that will be covered in the Main Presentation. We especially encourage everyone to join us for Networking before the Main Presentation. This is an opportunity for you to share a story about your triumphs (or struggles) with others just like you. To make it easier to link names and faces, we encourage everyone to wear name tags that we provide. During each meeting we have a time for anyone to make an announcement to the group. This is a time to share that you need someone to help on a big project of yours or that you are available to help others on their projects. Also, tables are set up for resumes, sponsor materials, drawing items and other items of interest. So feel free to bring job announcements, resumes and business cards to display. And, to wrap up the evening, we always find time for Q&A. So bring your questions. With so many outstanding developers, including novices, advanced developers and even Access reference book authors, you are bound to get an answer that will work for your situation. Additional meeting information can be found through these links: Bring the Current Meeting Announcement As part of the Microsoft security process, attendees need to have an admission form and register their vehicle if it is parked in a Microsoft parking lot. The first page of the current meeting announcement will serve as your "admission" to the meeting. Main Presentation Topic Ideas are always welcome! If you have presentation ideas or would like to do a presentation for our group, please send a complete description of your idea to our President's email. We'll be happy to consider your topic for one of our upcoming meetings. |

What a dynamic group!!! Thanks to your interest and participation, our group continues to grow and to attract first class presenters. We are working to develop relationships with more sponsors -- companies that provide tools and resources for our members. The meetings have expanded to provide break out sessions and more networking time. And, thanks to everyone who responded to our survey on meeting topics, we are scheduling presentations to cover the most requested topics. The remaining topics will be covered at the meetings during Q&A and general discussions. We look forward to seeing you! |
